Year 7, 8 & 9 Revision Resources

At our school, success starts in the classroom. Attendance and active learning in lessons are the most powerful tools for progress—far more important than hours of extra revision.

We encourage students not to over-prepare for assessments in Years 7–9. Learning is a five-year journey, and we want students to peak at the right time in Year 11, not burn out early. Think of it as a marathon, not a sprint.

Our Confident Knowledge Process is the key to success. Each half-term, students learn and review essential facts, which acts as built-in revision for mid-year assessments and end of year assessments. This means they’re already preparing effectively without extra pressure.

Remember: Rest, hobbies, and family time are just as important as study for optimal performance.
