We are delighted to introduce Laura Evans our new Associate Assistant Principal who will responsible for leading developments in Academy Culture and Climate. Laura will also act as our Designated Safeguarding Lead alongside Mr James and will play a vital role in ensuring we set the best foundations for the exceptional education at the heart of our community.

Laura Evans - Associate Assistant Principal

'I am really excited about joining Oasis Academy Temple Quarter and I cannot wait to meet all our wonderful Year 7 students.

I am originally from Bristol and have studied at both the University of Chichester and Bath Spa University. I come from a youth work background and value the importance of Social, Emotional, Mental Health when supporting young people. My work within secondary schools has spanned both academic and pastoral leadership and I am ambitious for all students. 

I love mathematics and believe a good grasp of mathematics is a necessity in life. I relish those ‘lightbulb’ moments when you can see students making links between different areas of mathematics and the satisfaction they get when finding a solution.

I cannot wait to get started at Temple Quarter and build a community together as the school grows. This is a unique journey and I look forward to being on it with you.

I am an avid traveller and enjoy exploring the world. I have been to all 7 continents and met many wonderful people. In my spare time I enjoy attending music gigs and playing netball where I love being part of a team.'
